I was trying to get into Twitter the other day, and Fail Whaled. So I made this: Read more
Plurk Search Surge
Or if I want to use Plurkonics, I should have spelt “Plurk Surch Surge”…
Private Plurks = Power Plurks
What I appreciate about the private plurking option, where I can share a plurk with either one person or a group of people I designate, is that I take connecting conversations to a deeper level.
Yesterday, for example, I asked a question about how we can tell the difference between hesitating due to fear or hesitating due to a “good reason” (i.e. what you’re thinking about doing is no longer aligned with your goals). I received a couple of responses from helpful plurkers, and then engaged in a deeper discussion with one of the plurkers.

The ability to connect privately either with an individual or designated group of individuals allow me to form deeper relationships and engage in more significant / meaningful conversations than I’d ever been able to elsewhere (i.e. Twitter). I’ve found that Plurk is fertile ground for cultivating new friends, while Twitter requires you to already come equipped with solid relationships or you’ll barely get a Tweet back.
