“magpie” – new monetizing model for twitter and it’s going to be a FAIL. u basically allow them to rent your username to push out ad tweets.

@remarkablogger I searched for #magpie and saw lists of redundant tweets from diff. twitter accts. I love making $ but not like this.

just unfollowed someone bc of #magpie robo-tweet and no response/interaction. i’m not on twitter to read your ads – corporate or personal.

(the birds) “Magpies are despised by almost everyone…” http://budurl.com/g6gy #magpie company: you’re not helping your poor avian species.

Plurk as Business Brainstorming Tool

A benefit of the Plurk platform is the threaded format. I don’t need to click through all the responses (a la Twitter) to get what everyone else is saying.

I’ve noticed that there have been great questions asked on Plurk, and these have generated responses very quickly. For example:

how do you see media changing in the next 10 years?

Ever Listed a Digital Product for sale on www.ClickBank.com how was the process?

how important is a username to you? Do you sometimes check a profile based on the username? I think they are the first impression
