What makes you a Plurkaholic? I love the conversations and ideas that flow on the site. I can’t resist getting involved in conversations ranging from politics to computer problems, to interface issues, to silly stuff. I love that I can pop on the site anytime and see what is going on and what has been going on.
But the biggest thing that makes me a Plurkaholic is that I can’t resist popping in from where ever I am and sharing with others. I plurk from the Phx Mercury games, I plurk from the road, I plurk from home. I am on Plurk whenever possible!
When you’re not Plurking what do you do? I am the new Community Manager for AllVoices, Inc. They run www.AllVoices.com – citizen media at its best. This is a great fit for me because I can share a site I believe in, help them improve it, and help people connect with the world around them all at the same time. My view of the site is that it is a place for you to report, discuss, and learn about the news that matters to you.
When I am not on the computer, I love to read and write. I am married to a computer gladiator who won’t do social media because he says “I have a life”, but who has been on SlashDot for many years.
I am also a board member of APCUG (Association of PC User Groups) and evangelize for people to get involved in peer to peer support. THAT is what lead me to the world of Social Media in the first place.
Oh – and I love OneNote, SnagIt, and great conversations!
Are there any memorable Plurk conversations that you want to share? I love the plurkshops, though I don’t seem to have time to get involved in them as much as I used to. I love the conversations about news as it happens. I also love the reports from the MarsRover.
Extra stuff… I want to share some of the people I believe everyone should follow – these are the people who make me laugh, cry, live, and learn everyday!

Kathy, I enjoyed reading your profile here. (Thanks, Jane.) And thanks for both the personal shout-out and the reference to the plurkshops. And big congratulations on your new position as a community manager. Really happy for you.
